Mercure Saint Omer Centre Gare

The members of staff on the morning we were leaving were genuinely friendly. I was a bit worried from the so-so experience of checking in the night before, and then having to wait to place a room service order while the receptionist had a long chat with a coworker. All that aside, the room was grand and had a little terrace, was decorated to a high standard, and in a good location. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and had a wide range of options to choose from. During our dining experience, the servers were attentive and friendly; nothing seemed to run out and if an item was running low, it was quickly replaced with a fresh item. The front desk staff in the morning were very kind and patient with my French as I'm learning, and they went above and beyond to assist with requests.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a stylish new hotel not far from the station. The decor is very contemporary, the room was comfortable and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is excellent.

An excellent hotel for a stopover through northern France. The reception staff were excellent ( incredibly welcoming and very efficient) - just what you need after a long day travelling. And dinner in the attractive courtyard was delicious and very French.

Staff were friendly and attentive; our two rooms were close together; our rooms were large, well equipped, and very clean; breakfast was excellent - large spread with enough variety to suit all tastes.

Staff are polite and helpful, but sometimes struggle with English, they try hard to understand and do better than my French. The room was well laid out, clean and a reasonable size. We booked parking and it is outside at the rear of the hotel. The bar and restaurant area is very good and breakfast was excellent.
